We had an Associated Press bureau here in Montana, but
when it's radio news, and my writing mentor, Len Iwanski retired, AP
closed it. Now everything is sent to Colorado, where it is "edited", and
sent out. The editing is not too bad, but the political spin put on the
stories is very heavy.
To
me, it is not the TV and print media that is the fake news, it is the
AP. They are the ones who feed all the news sources, and those sources
merely read them verbatim. When United Press International was still a
major player, AP was not so bad. But after UPI was bought by the Korean "Unification Church", and their raising prices, most outlets stopped using them.
Their wire transmissions stopped, and we were left with an enormous hole
in our news.
