I have been reading about California's Proposition 14, the Top Two Primaries act. Looks like a pretty good idea. It restricts political parties from controlling elections, and allows The People of California to be in control.
I am no longer a resident of California, so my opinion doesn't count. But if it passes, it might be the first step in allowing We The People to regain control over our government.
If you are dumb enough to march blindly in lockstep with whatever political party to which you agree, you will hate it.
If, however, you have half enough brain to look beyond the party line dogma created to keep you marching in lockstep, you will understand it is a very good idea.
Google California Prop. 14. read it for yourself. Make an informed decision. Then, vote as your conscience leads, not as a political party dictates.
